Tokens & Rewards
Duocosm has two token currencies. They serve different purposes and cannot be exchanged for each other.
Silver
Silver is the earned currency. You cannot buy it — you earn it by engaging with the app.
How to earn Silver

Weekly earn ceiling — 25 silver. Closing your day, streak bonuses, reciprocation rewards and the calendar loop together cannot exceed 25 silver in a week (weeks start Monday 00:00 UTC). Two things sit outside it: the milestone awards, because the sky grants those and you cannot make them happen; and an invite that converts, because that brings in a new person rather than repeating something you already do.
Intentions and reflections were worth 15 and 25 and sat outside the ceiling until August 2026. They are smaller now, and inside it, deliberately — writing a reflection should be worth doing for its own sake, and a large payment is the quickest way to make it feel like a chore with a rate. Once you hit the ceiling those three stop paying out until the week rolls over. Invite rewards, calendar rewards and milestone awards are not counted against the ceiling.
Silver is deliberately slow. The ceiling is what keeps it a rhythm rather than a grind — you cannot farm your way to a premium experience.

How to spend Silver
Everything Silver buys is time-boxed or one-shot — Silver never buys anything permanent.
One-off unlocks

Peeking is meant to be a taste of the premium layer, not a substitute for it — at a typical earn rate that's roughly one or two peeks a week.
House unlock — 50–100 silver
Unlock a natal house permanently. Cost scales with house depth:

This is the shortcut, not the only road. Every house also opens by working through the lessons behind it, which costs nothing — see Learn Your Chart. Silver buys you past them; it is never required, and the lessons never require Silver.
Connection slot lease — 75–200 silver / 30 days
Temporarily add one slot to your connection pool for 30 days. The category you pick sets the price; the slot itself is category-agnostic once leased (your Flame ceiling still applies to whatever fills it).

Only one lease can be active at a time. Leases run for 30 days; after expiry your pool returns to its normal size. Renew the lease to keep the extra room — the paid tiers that would raise the base pool are not available yet.
Gold
Gold is the purchased currency. It unlocks premium one-off catalogue items.
Buying Gold
You cannot buy Gold yet. In-app purchases are not switched on — any attempt answers "Purchases are not yet available." Gold bundles will appear here when they do, with their prices.
Until then, Gold only arrives by earning it, and everything below that costs Gold is unreachable without doing so. That is a real limit today, not a nudge toward a purchase that does not exist.

Permanent extra slots are the one capacity upgrade Silver cannot buy — that is the line between the two currencies.
Token philosophy
Silver is about showing up — daily engagement, intention-setting, and reflection are rewarded. You cannot rush Silver; it requires consistent use.
Gold is about going deeper — it lets you unlock specific items on demand without requiring a higher subscription tier.
