Your account
Go to Account to view your profile, subscription tier, token balances, and birth data.

The Account page shows:
- Display name and email
- Plan — your current subscription tier, shown as a colour-coded badge
- Streak — your current consecutive-day streak
- Balance — Silver (☽) and Gold (☀) token balances
- Birth data — date, time, and place of birth used for chart calculation
If you are on the free tier, an Upgrade button links directly to the plans page.
Subscription
Your current tier is shown on the Account page. Click Upgrade to move to a paid plan.

Email verification
When you register, Duocosm sends a verification link to your email address. Click it to confirm your account — the link is valid for 24 hours.
- Your verification status is shown on your profile.
- If the link expires, you can request a new one (
POST /api/auth/verify-email/request, or via the Account page once signed in). - Resetting your password also verifies your email, since it proves you control the inbox.
Forgot your password?
Click Forgot your password? on the sign-in page and enter your email. If an account exists, you'll receive a reset link valid for 1 hour.
The link takes you to a page where you choose a new password (minimum 8 characters). After a successful reset:
- Your new password takes effect immediately
- Every existing session is signed out on all devices — you'll need to sign in again
- The reset link cannot be reused
For your privacy, the request form never reveals whether an email address has an account.
Contact discovery (opt-in)
Contact discovery lets people who already have your phone number find you in their "Add connection" flow. It is off by default — nobody can discover you through contacts unless you turn it on.
- When enabled, your phone number is hashed on-device and matched against other users' hashed contacts. Only your display name is revealed on a match — never your birth data or chart.
- You can turn it on or off at any time in Settings → Privacy.
- There is no public directory and no name search in Duocosm, regardless of this setting. The only other way to connect is a personal invite link that you share yourself.
Data and privacy
What Duocosm stores
- Your birth data (date, time, city) — used only for chart calculation
- Your email and display name
- Your natal chart (calculated positions)
- Your daily reading history
- Your calendar intentions and reflections
- Connection relationships and their consent state
- Token transaction history
Who can see your data
- Your birth data is never shared with connections. Only the resulting astrological positions (planet signs and degrees) are used for synastry.
- Your intentions and reflections are private — only you can see them.
- Your relational data (synastry, composite chart) is shared only with connections who have given mutual consent.
Exporting your data
Go to Account and click Download data (JSON) to export a full copy of your account data, including your natal chart, reading history, connections, and token transactions.
Deleting your account
You have the right to delete all your data at any time.
Go to Account and click Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.
What happens:
- All your personal data is immediately anonymised or deleted
- Your natal chart and daily reading history are removed
- Your active connections are notified that you have left
- All relational content that depended on your data is removed
- Your token balances are forfeited
This action is irreversible. Export your data first if you want a copy.
